Russell Blackwell
AKA Rusty Blackwell, AKA The Backwoods Butcher, AKA Butcher Blackwell was born and raised in the swamps of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario which is Nipissing First Nation territory. Born to Albert and Kathleen Blackwell, Rusty was raised on the land with little formal education until later in life when he attended the school of Hard Knocks Wrestling graduating with a major in PAIN.
Rusty was always large for his age and had a big appetite eating almost anything that he could get his hands on which made it hard to own family pets. His interest in wrestling came with his love of working meat although it is important to note that he has never been employed as a butcher before. He has applied many times but makes too much of a mess when he gets his hands on ribs or steaks. As a wrestler, the leather apron that Rusty wears is more about keeping blood off of his clothes, as he prefers to punch and smash the “meat” (his opponents), always preferring to use his hands instead of a butcher’s cleaver.
