JuJe Collective is the inter-conceptual journey of artists Julie René de Cotret and Jefferson Campbell-Cooper, as they live, support each other in research and production, sustain individual visual art practices, make works in conversation or fully in collaboration.

JuJe Collective is coming back to Fish Fest to further their inquiry on invisible beings and develop methods of observation. Using drawing, performance, and vintage tech the art duo will be showing a new installment to this Sturgeon Falls project.

Living and practicing on the parcel of land they inhabit, JuJe Collective produces work that consists of generous, ridiculous and disruptive gestures that challenge our idealized conception of bucolic living and agricultural landscapes. They highlight the environmental and sensorial turbulence settlers enact upon the natural surroundings through theatrical and multi-disciplinary performances.
